Kizunaya — Restaurant in Hiroshima

This place was exactly what I was looking for as my Japanese sushi experience, and my vegan partner was so happy with her vegetable sushi. I had my conveyor belt sushi experience in Tokyo, but this was a whole other level than I'd ever had. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Nobody spoke English, but they had a QR code with a menu that translated on my phone. The sushi was so darn good. They explain each piece to you (using Google Translate or photos) when it arrives. We are SO pleased we found this gem of a restaurant. Our best experience in Japan so far - English is slightly limited in there but the staff did everything they could (including the chef!) to help us which made it very special! Amazing food and sake, so so good. The shop is clean, well presented, inviting, fun, and has a great atmosphere! But best of all are the staff.

They were so friendly and helpful, plus a lot of fun and very accomodating despite the restaurant being so busy and only three of them.
