Excellent 'proper' coffee from this wee, classy yet casual vegan-friendly establishment, including hand press espresso and hand drip coffee.
There's even decaf espresso for those who love the ritual and flavour of coffee but want to avoid the kick, hard to find outside Starbucks, and it's as good as the caffeine version.
The owner is dedicated to his craft and the menu explains that it may take some time. I appreciate this management of customer expectation. The coffees were ready within minutes.
There are oat, almond, and soy milk options and a selection of packaged snacks, including five different flavours of miniature vegan Rice Powder Cookies from Hokkaido, perfect to have with coffee on the spot or to take on a train trip.
