Cute cafe short walk from Hiroshima's main tourist attraction: Peace Memorial Park/Museum. We came here because the cafes in the peace park were lacking (non-barista made coffee if i remember correct). It's exactly what I wanted from a Japanese cafe: cute, has character as opposed to chain stores, homemade things, staff seemed like owners. I understand the rule to buy food as it's only small so if you're going to take up the limited space they have you should spend more than just 500 yen. Charming little café in Hiroshima with a beautiful interior and great quality drinks. The space is quite small—fits around 12–15 people—and if you want to dine in, there’s a rule to order one drink and one cake per person. I decided to go for takeaway instead and ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a coffee. Both were absolutely delicious—well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared.

We stopped in here after exploring Miyajima for the day seeking a nice coffee for the afternoon. It's an adorably cute cafe, the staff were super friendly and the coffee was so good. You have to buy a cake or food with the coffee, but who doesn't want cake with their coffee? I had a soy latte and the carrot cake, and my sister had a cappuccino and the orange cake.
