You will smell the homemade pork broth as you enter this sweet grandma’s restaurant! It is designed kitchen straight to service so you can see her prepare everything as she goes. I love supporting small businesses like hers because I can see she is just so good at her craft. Single-handedly the richest and creamiest pork broth I’ve ever had in Japan or the US. Noodles and pork were standard and still good! But the broth was a stand out. The owner does everything from cook, clean, waitress. She’s incredible. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a home cooked vibe and excellent ramen.

She recommended donkatsu ramen (kyushu ramen). It was really amazing - one of the best ramens I’ve had so far. Its intense broth is incomparable. I also had a great time with (Japanese-)Argentinian customers (Gustav and another that I forgot his name - sorry!). It was one of the best nights in Hiroshima. Definitely revisit this place. Hope the grandma is healthy 🙏🏻

Quality of food is truly special. Amazing broth, very balanced. Noodles were not as soft as other reviewers mentioned, which is fantastic. The owner is very kind. The ambiance is Anthony Bourdain style hole in the wall goodness. If your priority is phenomenal ramen, you will come here.
