Wanted to have one last okonomiyaki before leaving Hiroshima and was initially hesitant about this place as it was right next to the station and, I had thought, undoubtedly touristy. However, the quality of the okonomiyaki was excellent and the shop had an authentic feel to it, being run by a single superwoman who did everything from waiting tables, making drinks and cooking the okonomiyakis to perfection. This really hit the spot for me and I’m glad to say I managed to satisfy my okonomiyaki cravings before bidding Hiroshima goodbye.

Plus, it's right by the train station! Bonus for non Japanese speaking tourists is she speaks a tiny bit of English.

Wonderful spot! Spending only a few hours in Hiroshima, I wanted to try the local specialty - okonomiyaki - and this was EXACTLY what I dreamt it would be. Tomi San cooked for me teppanyaki and offered a kind chat. Delicious bite to eat and cozy, joyful experience....
