A small little shop two blocks off the busy food street in Kamakura. I had never heard of or tried amazake before so ordered what the owner recommended -- hot, ginger amazake and I added the amazake whipped topping. It was much sweeter than I was expecting (a bit too sweet for my taste) and had a nice subtle ginger flavour. The amazake whipped cream was amazing. The amazake flavour was pretty mild but the texture was super interesting. It was almost pulpy. I can't see myself getting amazake often but would definitely recommend...

Very good cold Amazake, I basically devoured it. The shop owner is friendly and comes out to bring you the drink while you wait outside, giving also some advice to the girl next to me regarding her drink.

My main and only recommendation would be to check for all possible vegan combinations that can be done, and possibly mention that ice can be removed from the cold drinks if customers would prefer so. Recommended for a small stop before repenting for the delicious and surely not last experience, in front of...

Had a Hojicha matcha amazake for 650 yen. The shop is in a cute area outside of the busy shopping street. Nice drink on a hot summer day. The flavor of sake and texture was rather too smooth than slurry which I'd prefer. Couldn't feel the roasted green tea at all. Taste and value wise...
