Super cute wine bar with amazing food and friendly service!

Started off with some glasses of sparkling wine which was perfect on a hot summer afternoon.

The husband and wife team were very attentive and ensured our glasses were never empty. They are so incredibly sweet with their warmth and big smiles.

The food. Ohh the food! Everything we had was SO. DANG. GOOD.

We also could not help ourselves to admire at the food selections of our neighbors (sorry, not sorry for staring) as every dish that came out of the kitchen was superbly crafted, plated and delivered.

You simply cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

A truly special dinner during my trip to Japan in early April. I had the pleasure of dining at Tres in Kamakura, and it was by far the best dinner of my trip. The food was absolutely perfect, and the wine selection—curated by the owner—was outstanding, especially for fans of natural wine.

Both the husband and wife who run the place are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about wine. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality you get.

I highly recommend Tres to any wine lover visiting Kamakura. Just make sure to make a reservation in advance, and if you know a little Japanese, it will definitely enhance...
