Just to give an example of how poor the service was, we came in with a plastic cup that we had coffee in earlier. They refused to take our rubbish saying “they are bins near the vending machines in the area”.

We only tried the lasagna and the bread but the food was not great but not terrible either.

The store only takes cash (which is fine of course) but this is not advertised at the front of the restaurant as is common practice. Instead, it is mentioned at the bottom of the back of the menu. Awesome meal at Severico Kamakura! We were excited for something a little different after two weeks of Japanese food, and this place was perfect! Great selection of Mediterranean food that hit the spot. We had tasty muscles, caprese, garlic bread for appetizers and the garlic pork and chicken for dinner. We loved the bright flavors, great textures and fresh food. All around awesome! Our server was also the host, cook, server, water refiller, and dish washer! We ordered omelette rice with beef demiglace sauce (牛すじのビーフシチューオムライス ¥1,600) and Lunch A Set (¥1,500). The omelette rice was especially delicious.

During our June visit, we sat at the counter near the entrance windows and noticed quite a few insects.

Order and payment are made by QR code. There is minimum interactions with the restaurant staff.
