Brilliant find for coeliacs, providing a delicious and authentic Japanese dining experience in a lovely little restaurant. I am coeliac, and I was so reassured by their great understanding of gluten free — pointing out on the menu what I could and couldn’t have (about 5 options were ok), providing gluten free soy sauce and rice vinegar, adapting elements of my meal (without me asking) and answering my questions. I had the red and white bowl (rice, white bait and tuna), which was delicious and really fresh. They also provided free cold green tea and appetisers. Definitely visit if you’re coeliac, then walk up the road towards the shrine for a gluten free taiyaki from Koga Rice Flour Taiyaki...
