Harenochi-shigure — Restaurant in Kanazawa

My partner and I got two bowls of ramen here. We really liked one, and didn't like the other one so much.

You go to the vending machine in the back and select the ramen you want (you have to put in your money first). There are no English translations on the vending machine. The ramen was great and the store is small, so sitting and having it feels super cozy. I rarely have ramen because I’m a Muslim and most places have pork or non halal broth. Here there are two options which use completely seafood broth (I believe the tobiuo salt ramen and the dried sardine soy sauce ramen). Chanced upon this ramen store hidden slightly off the main road and managed to get in riiiight before they closed. Got to try one of each of their special, shoyu, shio and sardine ramens. The shio has a lighter taste compared to the rest which are more full bodied but all were absolutely tasty!! You could adjust the taste with their special chilli (smells like laoganma) and vinegar.
