They sell a single item, a Chinese soba that is extremely rich and savory. What captivated us to try this place was the extremely small seating section inside that included a bar area of 7 seats. Although you barely have any room, 2 doors allows you to enter from either side. The atmosphere is like no other and the grandma and grandpa singled-handedly run the entire business. I wish they'd raise their prices since the cheap price of 500 yen per bowl is such a disservice for the experience and food we received. If you walk from the train station toward Old Town you will undoubtedly find this tiny building on the right hand side. It’s small and has that sitting at a diner counter vibe. The absolute definition of mom and pop shop. Don’t think about it. Just sit down and wait for your delicious bowl to come out. There’s only one thing on the menu and they do it very well. Best ramen I've had in a long time! Incredibly flavourful broth (drank it all) and great noodle texture. Quaint cosy atmosphere. You can feel the love in this place from the cute trinkets hanging from the ceiling and the walls, to the foreign notes and coins gathered over decades from customers and displayed with pride.
