寺子屋 — Restaurant in Kyoto

I went to this restaurant after visiting the Toji Temple and Pagoda. I was a nice little walk between a regular non-touristic neighborhood. I am happy we found this place. It is run by an elderly couple who were very nice and charming. The lady spoke some English so we were even able to have a small conversation with her. I ordered the pork cutlet, and let me tell you it was the best pork cutlet I had in Japan. You can tell right away that this is the closest you can get to taste like homemade food.
