(1) No, you promised to send me email but I receive NO email including all trash and junk box until today. The email is using the same name as my check-in name that could not be wrong.
(2) The frontline staff ONLY told us the search of trash boxes. This was the only information we had from your frontline staff. And it was the POLICE who told us the hotel cannot reach out for the cleaning staff on the incident day, but not by the hotel staff. Not until we inquired again on the following evening your staff replied us that neither cleaning staff nor towel cleaning company had seen my earrings. No email was received.
(3) The hotel did not told us anything about the response of the cleaning staff and the check of CCTV. It is UNTIL my comment on Google you told me that the staff had actually SEEN my velvet bag. Wow what a SURPRISE!
(4) I DID NOT request you to check the room again. It was your staff, which I appreciated his courtesy, who say “if it can be found, the hotel will email you”.
Anyway, given your thrilling response, I truly believe that it was a haunted room :)

I stayed at this 4-star hotel in November 2024 and experienced something that has completely shattered my trust in their security and service. The trip was celebrating my wife’s birthday.
I left a pair of pearl earrings, which was my wife’s birthday gift, contained in a black velvet bag holding great sentimental value, on the desk in my room. When I returned, the bag containing them was gone, while everything else on the desk was untouched.
I immediately reported this to the staff, but their response was nothing short of disappointing. After a quick search, the staff said they rummaged through some trash and didn’t find my earrings. They didnt even bother to ask the cleaning staff, or check the CCTV or make any serious effort to investigate. For a hotel of this supposed standard, this lack of action and care is unacceptable.
