For my next meal, I'd like to recommend a rich ramen in the Arashiyama district. The restaurant is called Arashiyama Tenryu Ramen (嵐山天龍ラーメン) and it's not too crowded.
I ordered the Chashu Ramen (1,400 yen) which comes with 5 slices of chashu pork, 2 boiled eggs, bean sprouts, and a rich pork bone broth. Although the store has very limited seating, you can go sit at the tempura shop across the shop.(same shop just different location) The menu is kinda big and I ate the Kimchi Ramen and it was great. The pork slices are fine and good, but nothing more. The other toppings are honest. In terms of taste/price ratio, the restaurant is in the low middle range, but this takes away one more star, as does the service, which constantly pushes you to hurry up and ask if you've finished eating. In short, a restaurant for tourists. If you're hungry and don't have much time to waste, go there. Otherwise...
