I’ve never written such a negative review about a café in Japan, but the experience my family had at this vegan café was truly appalling. My husband was in the toilet with our 4-year-old daughter, when she needed to use the restroom. Despite this being a normal situation for a child, the elderly woman who runs the café began aggressively knocking on the door several times and made me knock on the door to check on them. Even after hearing the toilet flush and being told that everything was fine, she continued knocking, demanding that they hurry up and get out. I have never encountered such rude and inconsiderate behavior, especially in Japan.
We also noticed how rude she was to her own staff, including an even older woman working there. Watching her speak down to her employees made the atmosphere incredibly uncomfortable.

I was about to ask the lady outside of the cafe (in Japanese) but she angrily scolded me about photographing being prohibited and literally slammed the cafe door shut in front of my face.
