Warning: Unreliable & Disrespectful – Not Suitable for People with Disabilities
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was absolutely unacceptable. I’m currently injured and unable to walk. Since the website said reservations weren’t possible, I sent my husband to the shop in advance to check if a wheelchair was available. He was told it could be booked, so he waited there while I ordered a taxi (which cost me €40) to get there myself.
While I was already in the taxi, my husband called me—suddenly they said the wheelchair was not available after all. I had to turn around and go home.
This isn’t just poor service, it’s playing with people’s emotions. We’re not talking about cake here, we’re talking about mobility and human dignity. I would give zero stars if I could. Definitely not a place I can recommend for renting a wheelchair.

Although it is a wheelchair focussed restaurant it is a focus on the staff rather than exclusively disabled customers (able bodied customers very welcome). The spin is that the seats are wheelchairs!

Read morestumbled across this lovely cafe on the way to fushimi inari. they are an accessible cafe where all the seating are wheelchairs. the atmosphere was kind and inviting and the staff were welcoming and friendly. the art on the walls was also so cute! we ordered the matcha parfait and wagyu omusando, the parfait was delicious and not too sweet and the meat in the sandwich was so tender and flavorful. love the cafe concept and wish there were more places like this. definitely would come back, this was such a gem and highlight...
