Cafe World — Restaurant in Kyoto

A delightful local café run by a cafe veteran couple. There is lots to choose from on the food and drink menu, all with very reasonable prices. This time around I got a small bit of traditional Japanese kissaten-style pizza toast and it was prepared really quickly, of course with great drip coffee to come with it. Recommend for breakfast as the set is a good deal!

The customer service is quick and efficient too, always a bonus. I loved overhearing the daily conversations going on with the local neighbourhood regulars - it really is a cafe for the community.

The shop only allows electronic cigarettes so you will not be surrounded by the strong tobacco smell or see the smoke of other customers (unlike in other traditional kissaten cafes) which is...

내부 촬영이 허락되지 않습니다. 그렇다고 불친절하거나 하진 않습니다. 커피는 클래식한 스타일을 고수 합니다. 그리고 그러한 클래식한 느낌을 느끼고 싶다면 방문 추천 드려요. 그리고 이 집의 킥은 토스트 입니다. 일본 빵들이 맛이 있지만 커피 주문시에는 꼭 한조각 같이 시켜보세요. 스콘이나 쵸코케익과 다른 특별함이 있습니다. 개인적으로 상당히 좋았습니다. 아직도 일본은 실내에서 흡연 하는 곳이 많습니다 시대가 변하여 제가 갔을땐 전자담배 정도 피우는 사람들은 있었습니다.

Un rinconcito acogedor con alma setentera y café delicioso.

Cafe World es una pequeña cafetería en Japón que se siente como un diner americano de los años 70, con un ambiente acogedor, cómodo y lleno de encanto retro. Lo atiende una pareja japonesa súper amable, que tuesta su propio café y hace que te sientas como en casa desde que entras.

La comida está deliciosa y las porciones de los combos de desayuno son generosas y bien balanceadas —perfectas para empezar el día con calma.

Probamos dos granos: Etiopía y Brasil. El de Etiopía fue nuestro favorito, con notas vibrantes y muy bien tostado, aunque el Brasil también nos sorprendió por su suavidad y sabor redondo.

Nos ofrecieron menú en inglés y se tomaron el tiempo de responder nuestras dudas con toda la paciencia del mundo.

Un gran plus: abren temprano, lo cual es poco común en Japón si buscas un buen desayuno antes de las 11 am.
