This museum has so much potential to teach many curious people about Buddhism teachings, its history and the different way it manifests across the world. However what was really disappointing was the explanation of all the artefacts - even in Japanese there were so many kanjis that no ordinary Japanese person could read, and obviously there was barely anything in English. What’s the point of having so much information but making it unaccessible for ordinary people?

Museum shop was great though, that’s lots of different stationery, calendars, pictures and postcards for you to take home as a momentum of your time… If only we knew from the exhibition what things actually...

This review concerns the entrance's coffee shop where service was slow, maybe due to a lack of staff. Orders appeared to be treated in numerical order whether a simple coffee or a meal. My latte took 15 minutes to be served. The decor is modern and beautiful, but the furniture is austere and uncomfortable.
