We stopped in by chance and had a wonderful evening in October 2016! The owner was so kind and welcoming - the patrons were too! People were enjoying snacks and drinks while taking turns singing along to the piano - it’s a small place, but everyone seemed to know each other and meet there regularly. We were encouraged to do some singing ourselves ... we were the worst and must have hurt their ears, but they were encouraging and cheered us on - we are determined to practice up for our next visit!

Read moreThis place really makes you think that Miyazaki hasnt invented much in order to create his worlds in anime, because all he has to do is walk around and open a few lucky doors. This small bar is a gem hidden between a laundrymat and a vending machine store. The owner and his lady are old gentle people, always smiling, very happy to see new faces. They have a piano they will play, and a collection of every 45 vynil even put in commerce from the 50s on. I dont think it's possible there's another place like this anywhere...

We were served with really nice whiskey and cocktails plus snacks, managed to chat across the language barriers and appreciate our culture! The atmosphere was the best which gave me a feeling travelling back in time and forgetting all the troubles.
