We can not rate Coffee Pado highly enough. Please make a visit here when you visit the Bamboo Forest. The specialty coffee and sandwiches were delicious, but it was the care that firstly Setsuko, (wife) and then Koji showed us after we left our bag on the Number 28 bus that means we will never forget this please. I arrived at this delightful cafe obviously upset, and Setsuko (and her patrons at the next table) couldn't have showed me more care and concern. It was so touching and heartfelt. When we used Google Translate to say what was wrong, Koji made some phone calls and then offered to drive us to the main bus office. We protested, but next thing we were in his car and driving for more than 30 minutes (one hour return) into the city. Next thing we had our bag (with passport and medications) returned. This supreme act of kindness has completely transformed the trajectory of our holiday and will never be forgotten. Our heartfelt gratitude to Koji and Satsuka. PS: the melon soda was also delicious.

This little cafe is tucked away, a bit further out from the tourists... Ran by an elderly couple who clearly love what they do! They were so accommodating, making everything fresh and by hand. It genuinely felt like I was having lunch at my grans house. Super peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend the egg sandwich & please do try their iced match latte, the best I've tried in Japan! This spot made my day, please visit to get the full hospitality experience of this couple â˜ș

We stopped in for a quick coffee and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was very tasty. The woman that served us was very welcoming and sweet.
