obasan can speak english, she's very nice and appreciate you when you speak broken japanese 😅

this is also my first time can enjoy pork in my life. it's delicious and not smelly, properly cooked.

i brought my mom and brother here since my mom quite a picky eater, so it's better for her to have slightly westernized menus rather than traditional japanese ones 🥲

it's not cheap, but it's value for money, especially for the ambience. other restaurants nearby are quite crowded, and you can walk a little bit far from station to find this nice restaurant that is not very noise 🥰

arigatō gozaimashita...

Le Bouchon T Masako is a hidden gem tucked away in the picturesque Arashiyama district, offering a delightful fusion of European flavors amidst the traditional Japanese landscape. As a lover of European cuisine, I was thrilled to discover this little restaurant that managed to capture the essence of both worlds.

While Le Bouchon T Masako's focus is on European cuisine, it seamlessly incorporates local Japanese ingredients and flavors, adding a unique twist to various dishes. This seamless blend of culinary traditions is a true testament to the creativity and skill...

The pork cutlet was amazing! The pork stayed crispy under the sauce, which was flavorful and rich. Each side vegetable was prepared meticulously with a variety of different techniques, such as steaming, frying, and pickling to match the flavor of the pork cutlet. The atmosphere was calming and cute (ac provided) and the staff were there when you needed them and not there when you didn’t. I also tried my friend’s fried chicken, which was...

Although this restaurant is very close to the touristic center of Arashiyama, it's a peaceful spot. There was a small wait, but it moved quickly. We both had the cutlet, which came with many veggies as well as a small soup on the side. Everything on the plate was absolutely delicious. I wish I had room left for a dessert because they do have quite a few. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a yummy lunch, away from the crowds.
