I had a veggie curry rice. It didn't contain meat (of course), but it's the most satisfying meal in my trip so far. The curry was spicy but comforting and there were many types of deep fried veggie. I enjoyed various textures and tastes throughout the dish.
As for coffee, normally I only drink iced americano but it seems the owner is very passionate about coffee so he refused to make iced coffee. I had 2 cups - the cold brew and Jamaica Blue Mountain. Both were fantastic but the cold brew was the best I’ve ever had.
My friend ordered the vegetable curry and it was amazing as well. She already had lunch but couldn’t resist trying it and she says it’s the best Japanese curry that she’s had. If you’re full you can order a half portion of rice.
