Cafe Dining Sera — Restaurant in Kyoto

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this café/restaurant and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, the attentive staff provided excellent service.

One thing that stood out to me was the fact that they had a menu in English, which made it incredibly convenient for international visitors like myself. After a long walk exploring the beautiful Bamboo Groove, I was ready to refuel and this place was just what I needed.

The food was simply delicious. They offered a wide variety of options, from traditional dishes to burgers and steaks. I opted for the Beef Steak@ and I was blown away by the flavors and presentation. The portions were generous, and the prices were affordable, offering great value for money.

Despite the language barrier with the waitress, ordering was a breeze. The staff made a conscious effort to ensure smooth communication, allowing me to easily convey my preferences.

Located a few minutes walk away from a major touristy area. This place is a cozy cafe that sits a few groups. We, a group of four, arrived at around 1pm and did a little waiting. There is an English menu (machine translated).

At the time of visit there was only one waitress. You have to wait a little for you do be addressed but response is still timely. She was very kind and patient as well even with my broken Japanese.

The food is delicious. The pictures on the menu didn't look that appetizing so my expectations were average but the taste is well above. Their set comes with miso soup and salad. They gave us a pitcher of water but it was small so ask a couple times to have them refill the water.
