Pizzeria LUGARA — Restaurant in Kyoto

Hoy desperté con el pie derecho, había hecho todos mis deberes correctamente y salí a pasear al perro-chan, en mi camino diario de rutina por aquella zona y me encontré con una bella vista que contemple por un segundo antes de inmortalizarla con una fotografía de mi celular que había comprado la semana anterior a esta, es un gran celular me costó cerca de ¥50,000 , fue una de mis mejores compras este año, en fin, después de fotografiar aquella bella vista continué con mi camino hacia la siguiente zona, mi signo zodiacal es Virgo, así que de acuerdo a la revista que compré esta semana, tendría un fortuito encuentro con quien podría ser mi alma gemela, es por eso que en estos días estoy más al pendiente de mi cuidado personal, lavándome los dientes por lo menos 2 veces al día y usando hilo dental, usando loción para poder enamorar a aquella dama en un momento oportuno, puede que este año me haya descuidado un poco con la comida, es por esto que me propuse una rígida dieta basada en comer puro arroz y pescado, pero hoy de regreso a mi casa sin haber encontrado a mi alma gemela, un olor cautivo mis fosas nasales lo cual hizo que me detuviera en seco en la calle, hace dos mese inicie con esta dieta pero hoy quise darme un gusto, una recompensa mejor dicho, por haber aprobado todos mis exámenes en línea, el lugar era esta pizzería en la que hace unos momentos tuve el placer de degustar una de las mejores pizzas que he comido. En fin La pizza esta buena cómprenla. Mi única queja es que no había salsa valentina de la que pica.

Today I woke up on the right foot, I had done all my homework correctly and I went out to walk the dog-chan, on my daily routine walk through that area and I found a beautiful view that I contemplated for a second before immortalizing it with a photograph of my cell phone that I had bought the week before this one, it is a great cell phone it cost me about ¥50,000, it was one of my best purchases this year, anyway, after photographing that beautiful view I continued on my way to the next area, my zodiac sign is Virgo, so according to the magazine I bought this week, I have a fortuitous encounter with who could be my soulmate, that's why these days I'm more aware of my personal care, brushing my teeth at least least 2 times a day and using dental floss, using lotion to be able to make that lady fall in love at an opportune moment, maybe this year I have been a little careless with food, that is why I proposed a rigid diet based on eating pure rice and fish, but today on my way home without having found my soulmate, a captive smell in my nostrils which made me stop in my tracks on the street, two months ago I started this diet but today I wanted to give myself a pleasure, a reward rather, for having passed all my online exams, the place was this pizzeria where a few moments ago I had the pleasure of tasting one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. Anyway, the pizza is good, buy it. My only complaint is that there was no itchy...

Tucked away in the streets of Arashiyama, Kyoto, Pizzeria Lugara is a delightful little spot that absolutely lives up to the glowing reviews online. After a morning wandering through the serene bamboo forest and visiting nearby shrines, this cosy pizzeria was the perfect lunch stop – and hands down served the best pizza I’ve ever had.

The prosciutto pizza was a standout – the crust light and blistered to perfection thanks to their authentic wood-fired oven, and the toppings fresh, flavourful, and well-balanced. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of the dough in every bite.

Another highlight was the cheese with honey panzerotti – piping hot, rich and cheesy with a touch of sweetness that made it completely delectable. We also ordered the salsiccia sausage with fries, which was a hearty and satisfying side that paired beautifully with the pizzas.

The staff were incredibly friendly and thoughtful, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made the experience all the more enjoyable.

Do note that the pizzeria is quite small, so if you’re coming with a larger group, be prepared for a bit of a wait – but trust me, it’s...

TLDR: Come here, eat and be happy

I love pizza as a general rule. I wanted a break from Japanese traditional food and found this place. Ordered the diavolo and some fries.

Diavolo came out. Slice is great size. As I ordered spicy salami the slice flopped slightly and the topping fell off but that’s my fault for ordering spicy salami. Slices themselves are delicious. Crispy underneath and sauce is beautiful. I will say that the crust is perfect and I mean it. I’m not a professional taster but I’ve tried Michelin recommended pizza in Napoli, hunted down well reviewed pizza places and also eaten microwave pizza when not drunk (I don’t discriminate …. Gotta catch ‘em all). Pizza Lugana has a great crispy crust which tastes sublime.

Overall I would highly recommend to anyone in the area or travelling through Kyoto. Hell I’d go out of my way to get on a train in Japan and come here for the day.
