i’m not exaggerating when i say this japanese restaurant is my favorite place to eat in all of japan. from the moment we walked in, it was clear that this restaurant goes above and beyond to make its guests feel welcome and comfortable. the workers were the nicest i’ve ever encountered, always smiling and eager to help. what stood out to me was how kid-friendly the restaurant is. they have toys and books to keep children entertained, which is such a thoughtful touch. it made the dining experience so much more enjoyable for families with young kids. and the food. i can’t get enough of it. i ordered an udon soup that was incredibly flavorful, and my mom chose a special spaghetti that i don’t know of that was equally delicious. i loved my soup so much that i ended up eating half of my mom’s rice too! my dad had ramen, and everything was so tasty, including the chicken. every dish was prepared to perfection, bursting with authentic flavors that left us all craving more. the atmosphere of the restaurant is open and inviting. the songs playing in the background were catchy, adding to the overall pleasant vibe. it’s a place where you can relax and enjoy a wonderful meal with family. to top it all off, we received free candy at the end of our meal, which was a delightful surprise. kids also get a free tasty snow cone, making it even more special for the little ones. these small gestures made us feel truly valued and appreciated as customers. i adore this place so much. the combination of delicious food, exceptional service, and a warm, family-friendly atmosphere makes it a standout. if you’re ever in japan, you absolutely must visit this restaurant. it’s an experience you won’t forget. i love it so much and can’t wait to go back.

Wow, what a hidden gem. We were at the Toji temple and the hunger appear and I was looking to get an omurice so I did what most of the people do; search on google maps with the word and this small place showed up with great reviews. We decide to give it a try and we were greeted by the I would like to assume owner/cook/waiter. With a smile on the face and showed us our table. The place is o my with a couple of tables and they also have toys for kids and a small nursery room. The food was delicious I was not disappointed at all, prices are slightly above above average but the quality and the taste was unbelievable, definitely if you are in the area and want a bite around the Toji temple go to this place you will not regret it.

So glad we found this place after a long day of walking! Very accommodating and super friendly service - was just the one guy serving and cooking but we were shocked how quickly he made 6 meals!! Really good food all round and reasonable prices Would highly recommend if you have a group that want both authentic Japanese cuisine or a slight western spin on some meals to please everyone (e.g. hamburger patty inside omurice with karaage chicken) (Tables are on the floor and he rearranged them to fit our group) Vegetarian menu separate with about 6 items to choose from (curry/noodles) They also have pancakes and we got a chocolate cake which was really good

We visited this charming little restaurant as a group of five, and from the moment we stepped inside, we immediately felt at home. The place is run by a father and daughter, both of whom were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the tasteful interior, created a setting that felt both intimate and inviting, almost like being welcomed into someone’s home.

The food was equally impressive. There was a wide variety of dishes to choose from, each prepared with care and full of flavor. Everyone in our group found something they truly enjoyed, which speaks to the quality and diversity of the menu.

Altogether, it was a wonderful experience—delicious food, a lovely ambiance, and hosts who made us feel like family. We wish this wonderful business all the very best for the future and will happily return on...

Very laid back atmosphere and accepting of kids. Owner is incredibly nice. Takes credit cards and tap-to-pay. Menu has English below Japanese so easy to order. Food was good and local. We got to sit on the floor to eat at the short table which was fun to try. Wife got fried shrimp in a curry with rice and I got noodles with vegetables and some fried chicken nuggets (different name). We both liked the food. My kid got fried rice, french fries and a banana shake. Banana shake appeared to be somewhat healthy and not ice cream based (good!), and fried rice included a little juice drink, some sliced banana, a jelly dessert, and some tomatoes. He also got to play with toys the whole time:). Very happy with the experience. Prices...
