Hofbäckerei Edegger-Tax — Restaurant in Kyoto

I was missing home and this is a great place to be! Everyone is very friendly and they speak English fluently. The Melange was very good. I wish they offered cream with the Apfelstruddel or the option to warm it up as we sometimes have it in Europe. The bread is good and the sandwiches (Brötchen) were sold out around ~14. If you want to try them, please visit earlier. Looking forward to visit frequently! 😍 Oh, it will be better to use a German-Austrian radio instead of a French one to give it a more coherent Air ;)

Authentic Austrian bakery with amazing sweets and good bread. The kaiser bread buns are great and very close to what one would get in Austria or southern Germany.

There is limited indoor seating and outdoor seating with a view of the road. The building is a modern structure in a more functional area of Kyoto, you come here because the food is good, not for the ambience.
