My partner and I had a lovely time time renting from them! We went for the couple option of 6300 yen (saving just 300 yen tho), both choosing their one layer yukatas. I later on chose to have my hair done for 1650 yen. I'd say their selection of yukatas are more traditional rather than modern, with louder and bolder colours and patterns. Their handbags include both traditional and modern ones.

The lady was very professional, and ensured the yukata wasn't too tight despite the outfit needing like 4 sashes tied on. I chose a bun hairstyle and the shop lady was very nimble in creating it, though it was slightly unkempt as she rushed, probably not wanting to take up too much of our time. They had a beautiful selection of hair clips and accessories! The shop lady suggested at most 2, as most were pretty big. Do take note that they don't have makeup services. They provide the usual wooden sandal clogs, which are actually quite easy to move around in.

We were very happy to join the Kimono packages on 13th July 2023, we were family of 2 adults and 2 kids. We were treated very well from choosing Kimono, dressing up as well as hair styling. Kimono condition was extremely good and wide-ranged, I was guessing that they were actually brand new. My girl chose her own kimono, hair style, handbag and umbrella, she was very pretty and happy. The staffs are professional and super nice to us, English speaking is welcome, and the location is super good, we parked right outside the shop, and we wore Kimono and walked to the bamboo forest. We have the best kimono experience with Yumekyoto. The booking was easily online. I discussed with them on instagram for photoshoot session. The ladies provided the most professional service at the store, they helped us select and dress the kimono. The best part is our photographer Masayuki Wani. He is very friendly, knows exactly where to go, how to pose, and took the best photos capturing our candid moments!
