Extreme poor service. Took forever in seating guests although empty tables and chairs were available. Nonetheless, I can overlook that. But the fact that they seated us after 30 minutes, took the order of the table that came after us first, and then had us wait another 40 minutes to deliver our food was RIDICULOUS!!! We waited a while for a table, and the portions were a bit small, but the food was good. I've never been to an Italian restaurant that serves curry dishes, but my friends said it was delicious. I had the scallop and shrimp pasta with tomato cream sauce and it was quite tasty. Unfortunately we had to order bread, which was $4 per piece! Our server declined to tell me that my pasta already came with a piece of bread too, so we ended up paying $12 for 3 pieces of bread, in addition to everything else. Best coffee in Japan. I had almost stopped looking for it. It was genuine espresso and the milk had been properly steamed in my cafe au lait. Food was excellent, service was very friendly. The restaurant is French and Italian inspired and the service is French-style I.e. it's slow so you can sit and enjoy your food and conversation. I see this as a positive but marked it as 4 stars because I see that many would not. Don't try to get in and out in that efficient Japanese style, just enjoy it.
