So perhaps there was another larger reservation or something but we arrived this evening for 2 and we were told they didn’t have seating for us, even though there were plenty of open seats.
A few minutes later a few people just waltzed in and seems one of em might have been making a video or something since they totally went in filming. Either way feels bad man.

Read moreEnglish: “Sa-Si-Su” is a seemingly typical izakaya on the exterior and even more familiar when you enter. The establishment is mostly for counter seating and an ample Sashiki space in the back that can accommodate two small groups. But don’t let its appearance fool you as this place is a haven for nihonshu (sake) and sushi-rolls (maki-sushi). Their menu fits on one page and is carefully arranged to give customers a great drink and food pairing experience. They will also have an odd item on the menu, such as deer and other game. This is definitely the local hang out and not for those who want an Instagram moment, tho there is plenty to Instagram about =)
