Shiki no Uta — Restaurant in Kyoto

Please, please do not come here. They are running a scam.

The bill was higher than it says on the menu, including tax.

All-you-can eat sushi is actually just cheap cuts of beef on a bit of rice. They take the sushi out 2 bits at a time, and we waited 30 minutes for it to come (it didn't come, we left). This is of course on purpose so that you can't order that much, since you only have 90 minutes to make orders.

We got charged an extra ¥2,000 for things that should have been included in the menu set.

The environment is horrible, it's so loud and there aren't walls between other customers. Some guy fell through the sheet onto our table.

So we paid almost ¥9,000 for a few bits of cheap beef on rice, it's marketed to trick people and particularly foreigners (us) into coming then springing a massive bill on you when you leave, without giving you the food you paid for. Please, please eat somewhere else. You will wait less, will get more and better quality food, and will pay literally 4x less. We've gone to fancy places and paid less than half of what we did here. I hope they close...

Average restaurant. Fast serving and service. Why 3 stars? Because of the food. All specials were missing besides one. The food quality you can definitely find better for the money you pay. My fried chicken and pork was all chewy and lacking taste. We ordered one hot pot and nowhere on the menu says you need to order minimum 2 persons, probably they take advantage of that and was also very boring and cheap on top of it. Two veggies in it, bean sprouts and salad, 2 pieces of tofu and some chicken pieces, boring. To be honest I would go there again and definitely I don’t recommend it. Not worth the money. 京都観光の際に立ち寄ったお店 今回は連泊でしたので、スーツケースを持っているので狭いお店は入りにくいので、駅前でいいお店がないかも探していましら、こちらの店が見つかりました。 旅館通りと落ち着いた雰囲気のエリアにあり 周りは旅館が立ち並んでいて雰囲気もいいエリア

京都駅から近い事、個室である事、和食で美味しいとの事、等でこちらのお店にお伺いしました。

店内は広々とした落ち着いた雰囲気。 全室個室になっているので、ゆったりとお食事ができます。

お店の名物を聞くと、赤海老のしゃぶしゃぶと、ヘキそばだそうです。

ほか、お酒にあうメニューもいろいろ。 日本酒の種類もバラエティー豊か！

お店がお薦めのものを頼まない手はないと、赤海老しゃぶしゃぶを注文！
