Fabulous experience. We found this shop next to our hotel near Kyoto station. The staff was very welcoming and can speak in japanese and chinese. There is a lot of choices with reasonable prices, as some other shops can make accessories or hairstyle pricy, here it's more balanced and you don't feel it adds up with every choice you make.

They'll help you wear the kimono and explain how it works, what to do and what to avoid, with a very gentle and welcoming tone. They'll politely ask you if they can take a picture for their social networks but you don't have to if you don't want to.

This place is amazing, my first kimono renting experience, and I got all the assistance I needed. The service us amazing. I got a plan for rental +hairdo for couples. You get your kimono and hairdo, and they help you in every step of the process, since the hairstyle up to all accessories you need. My best kimono experience ever! I did not have a reservation and did a walk-in. The staff treated me warmly and I did not wait long.
