They close at 8pm but u can still shop a little bit more before it really closing.
Food and ice cream are much cheaper here compare to 7-11 or family mart etc.
U can see they but some red sticker indicating 30% off or even 50% off on some fresh food.
These stickers are usually stick when the time is approaching to 8pm. U can save a lot by buying these foods and their quality won’t be that bad unless and keep it a large period of time before consuming them.
Staff are nice and helpful here. Places are big with clear sign to guide u through.
I strongly recommend u to come if u don’t know wt to eat or just want to hv some cheaper dessert or snack for the night.
There are many tourist events locals here so the queue may be a bit long. Also they only accept cash payment which is a bit annoying (at least in my understanding and personal experience).
They also provide free ice for u to preserve those sushi sashimi or dessert well.
This supermarket is located in the B2 floor of the mall. It maybe a little find if just by looking at Google map. U won’t know it’s on the B2 floor by looking at it. I don’t know its location until I find a kind and helpful stuff to tell me it’s located on B2 floor on the first floor of mall.
A bit sidetracked but anyway, it’s a gd place for...
Read moreMassive grocery store with excellent cuts of meat at fairly reasonable prices (Cash only though, no cards accepted). Nice steaks, wagyu beef, roasts, and they even have whole duck. Cheese selection was also good (found a nice stilton in there, a rare find in Kyoto). Best of all, there's a huge craft beer wall with worldwide cans and bottles from IPAs to Milk Stouts. I stood around there for quite some time (least busy part of the store actually). They also sell pre-made stuff from whole chickens to freshly-baked pizzas. I wouldn't do all my shopping there, but for select meats, cheese, and beer, I'm gonna be a...
Read moreGreat very large supermarket where you can find almost anything you need. It’s often quite crowded and can be a bit hectic with a lot of noise and activity. Located in the bowels of Yodobashi, so can be a little hard to find at first. Go in and take the escalators down to B2F. Fruit and Vegetables are expensive but everything else cheap or affordable. Note they take cash only. Checkout is a process of having your basket scanned by an attendant, they then direct you to a separate machine to insert your cash whilst they...
