The man who appeared to be the restaurant manager made us feel completely unwelcome from the moment we arrived. He didn’t bother to hold the automatically closing wooden door, which ended up hitting my mum. After that, he just pointed us to a table and curtly said to order through the QR code. Every other table received wet napkins except us, even though we remained polite and smiling the entire time.

The so-called signature grilled chicken was utterly bland, I had to add salt just to make it edible. We also noticed another table of foreigners being treated just as poorly, so it clearly wasn’t a one-off.

Absolutely terrible experience - unprofessional service, tasteless food, and a complete waste of money. Avoid this place...

It was a Friday night. Every eateries were full house. We were glad that Ryoma Shamo has two tables for the 9 of us. The place was packed with office executives, rowdy and busy. A good drinking place after a hard day’s work. We had the nabe sukiyaki, grilled chicken, grilled fish, ramen and fried noodle with 3 glasses of Kirin beer. The draft beer is refreshing and good. Noodles is well cooked with lots of veggies. Chicken is of small portion and the fish is a little saltish. There is a clear instruction on cooking the sukiyaki, it was fun for the party but the sauce was too...

When our first food is served, we are just asking if we can have bigger space of table in a polite way, the waiter (male receptionist) can just reject us if he can't do it, instead he is showing unhappy and sour face and joining the table for us. It is an inappropriate way. i do not think we are unreasonable, we are not just ordering few plates. we totally can understand if your restaurant is full house. it is not. before us, we have seen there is customer of 2 in a table of 4. Food is fine, but the attitude...
