I stumbled upon this little café in Kyoto and was honestly shocked by how affordable it was — probably the best prices I’ve ever seen in the city! I ordered the omelette set, which came with perfectly fluffy eggs, buttered toast, a small but fresh side salad, and a cup of tea — all for an incredibly reasonable price.

The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, with friendly staff and a quiet local vibe. It’s the kind of place you could easily spend an hour or two just watching the morning unfold.

I hate to be a spoilsport, but if the young guy is on duty, the whole place is a bit of a mess. He literally takes cups off the counter from previous guests, rinses them with a bit of water (no soap) and then serves the very next customers with the same cups.
