The joy of discovery ... Exceptional Spanish inspired cooking and perfectly curated wine list by the glass ... tasted a few ... from ¥600 house red to about ¥1000/glass
The lay back smiling chef gave us the run down of his menu ... can't believe what his charging, between ¥385 (roast onion) to ¥2178 (beef, not the tenderest but delicious nonetheless) for his simple yet potent dishes ... omelette, roast potatoes, Octopus, Shrimp Ajillo (the best of the evening if it have to pick one), and the cheese cake ... perfect closer ... small, simple, straightforward menu ... all that for around ¥12000 for two ... incredible value for money.
The young waitress, a literature university student from Tokyo, was just delighful, attentively, making sure that we enjoyed our dining experience, trying to explain food and wine with her English ... thank you and the very best future Itzuka ... hope we can meet again and enjoy a glass or two someday in Melbourne.

Obviously they are white and we are Asians. When we were at the casher paying the bill, I asked why this thing happened and got no explanation but 'sorry'. I was curious whether they would serive their fellow Japanese countrymen with hot dishes after 9 pm. 😊The worst experience in Japan till now. It's weird. Is this kind of racist? At least we don't feel...

So I spend 4000 yen and had to get something from the market to be full. Also the chef was testing all the food and dipping the spoons back in the food I was expecting disgusted when I saw that they should close it down for this act!! I didn’t ask for a saliva on the...
