The dried sea products, i.e. seafood snacks, section is an absolute steal, retailing at just 500 yen per pack. You can find almost everything there, particularly Japanese crackers, confectionery, dried foods, condiments, bread, souvenirs, dried/cup noodles and drinks.
There was a crowd when I visited the place, and I was quite amused at how some Chinese visitors would bring huge suitcases to the centre to store their purchases. I had also observed locals shopping there, so I presume it is a safe place to shop for good prices.
