The Bridge (ザ ブリッジ) — Restaurant in Kyoto

We’ve been here twice, the service was good on the first one. But I’m rating for the second visit which we had to leave before even ordering something. Their service person was utterly rude and nowhere near the true Japanese hospitality or kindness. My wife and I walked in for another breakfast here, and she went for a table and feeling a little light headed in the morning, and I went for the cashier to order some food and coffee. The service person literally shoved my wife from the table to open up a table for a family of 3, for a table of two. There were other empty tables which were able to accomodate families with kids. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I don't speak japanese well but they have a English menu and some of the staff can speak English!

The coffee is SOOO GOOD!! I can taste the quality and care they put into the craft. The food menu also looks great. Had the cheese cake and loved it!

The atmosphere in the shop is very laid-back and welcoming. Not super busy so it's easy to find a seat. Lots of space, could even be good to bring a bigger group of friends.

Was walking to a different cafe shop and walked by this one. I feel very fortunate to have stopped by. The owner greeted my us with a warm welcome and helped us order. I had blueberry shake that was delicious and not tart just the right flavor. I also ordered a Chiffon that was soft and with a nice texture and fine taste. My wife and her friends enjoyed their cafe. The kids loved their chocolate milk shakes along with their pastry. If your looking for a good cafe and pastries this is a great spot to stop by. Great to bring...
