We had a unique dining experience at “all you can eat barbecue” at Churrasco Restaurant located at Kawaramachi in Kyoto. It’s quite different from the style of service at this Brazilian restaurant as we got a continuous parade of grilled meats, carved at our tableside by “passadores” (meat servers). From sausage, chicken, pork and my favorite one is the wagyu beef. It was soft, tender and it melts in your mouth. The food and service is phenomenal from all the different cuts of meat and the salad bar, the vegetables are fresh and the salad dressing transforms the simple bowl of greens into a flavorful and satisfying meal!
What I like about this restaurant is the beautiful view, it’s classy and modern. The staff iare attentive and friendly and the passadore was quick, and happy to serve you. I would definitely come back here if I’m in Kyoto and the price is reasonable for the amount of meat that you can indulge in and enjoy as much. You also have a complimentary drink and dessert. The location is just an 8 minute walk from Kyoto Kawaramachi station and the famous...

It was room temperature.
With how amazing beef here in Japan can be, it was a surprisingly disappointing experience. I don't know if the owner/chefs have any idea what churrasco in Brazil is like, but they have entirely missed the mark at this place. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Que triste.
That being said, the service was good and the staff, who didn't speak English or Portuguese, did their absolute best to accommodate us. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately good service doesn't make up...

*PS… it’s very difficult to find. You need to take the elevator at Don Quixote and go to the 6th floor...
