A cozy dessert shop which conserves a certain Showa period feel to it, where you can get a taste of traditional Japanese desserts. Everything was a bit too sweet for me, but I hear that is the way of Kyoto desserts.
As soon as you're seated, you will be served a nice light tea, so there is no real need to order drinks unless there is something you particularly fancy trying from the menu.
