We were enthusiastically greeted by the friendly staff when we walked through the door. We did not have our smart phones with us (they scan a QR code to open the menu for ordering), but the nice young man used the house phone to patiently take our order. I had ramen with pork and a generous topping of green onions plus a side of fried rice. Spouse ordered fried rice with 3 pieces of fried chicken. The meals were prepared in fronton us and served promptly (with a fork for the chopstick challenged spouse). The ramen and fried rice were excellent! I had such a wonderful dining experience at Yakimeshi to Men Kyoto. The food was absolutely delicious — the ramen was rich and flavorful, the yakimeshi was fragrant and tasty, and the karaage was perfectly tender, crispy, and so satisfying.

The service was impressively fast without sacrificing quality, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly.
