We truly recommend going to this coffee if you want to experiment a real coffee lover experience. All products are carefully selected and all types of coffee are prepared with great care. We stopped talking and enjoyed the quietness of the place, the whistling of the boiling water while admiring the careful preparation of the coffee maker. Served with japanese pastries, the coffee was delicious.

The owner also speaks very good English.

It was a coffee ceremony and one of out best memories in Kyoto.

(Terrible approach to customers entering the cafe)

Walked 30 mins from the train station only to be told by the staff “we are full” (there was barely only 4 person inside) and we were ‘expected’ to stand outside or leave. It was 10 degrees in the afternoon btw. While I understand the space may be small, the very least you could do is to make some space to sit inside or state how long we had to wait outside.
