Overall great value except very dusty.
Pros: super close to convenience store and several bus and metro stops. everything works nicely (bathroom, toilet, hot shower, AC, etc) felt very safe due to two locks, deadbolt and the pad at the entrance to the building changes position of its numbers all the time for people who don’t want hotel experience and prefer self check in and self clean very nice staff ground floor western style room had little balcony and clothes drying rack calm. in room 105 we didn’t hear anybody else except someone in the laundry room once in the middle of the night lol
Cons: dustiest place I’ve ever stayed at. I think due to the AC. Management, please clean the AC and air ventilation shafts! Right now not suitable for people with asthma or allergies! the kettle made the water taste weird? water was less clean than in other hotels dark on...
Read moreDirty! Noisy! You can barely say it's a hotel. I stayed there 10 days(it was a nightmare) and they literally tell you to clean your own room... The first room I stayed was very noisy because of the people next to me(not soundproof rooms, I'm mean not at all). They changed my room but they charged me cleaning fee, even though they barely clean the rooms. Futon and floor were full of other people's hair, 1mm dust everywhere. There's no body in the reception. If your toilet paper is out, well good luck... You need call them for every little thing. If you wash your clothes and want to dry them, well good luck with that too. You open the dryer, puff dust and hair everywhere. I recommend you to go to a Business hotel. They might have smaller rooms but you get a actual hotel...
Read moreWe recently stayed in this hotel in a twin room, it was lovely and had everything you could need including a lovely kimono which was a nice touch (wish I had asked if I could buy one!) the bathroom was compact and really nice, looked new and was extremely clean as was the main room. ||The owner was really lovely and accommodating and was very welcoming, he let us use hotel umbrellas and as we went out one night when the tornado hit the brollies got battered and he would not allow us to pay for the damage! ||The hotel is situated close to the station, Kyoto Tower and the largest Buddhist Temple in Kyoto. There is only a short walk to the main shopping area and a little bus ride to the Nijo Castle (which is a must!) ||I would recommend this hotel to...
