Alps Coffee Lab — Restaurant in Matsumoto

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Alps Coffee Lab, a fantastic coffee shop conveniently located near Nawate and Nakamachi Streets. I ordered a Mandarin Americano, and it was simply divine. The first sip was an explosion of refreshing citrus notes, followed by a deep, rich body. The coffee boasted a robust depth with a pleasant, pronounced bitterness and a unique aroma, without being overly acidic. The first floor of Alps Coffee Lab offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, but the second floor is truly something special. It features carpeted seating where you can take off your shoes and unwind, creating a comfortable, living room-like experience. It was the perfect setting to savor the delicious coffee at a leisurely pace. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and trying a different bean. I absolutely loved Alps Coffee Lab. This small cozy café is located right on the river at the center of Matsumoto, around 10 minutes walk from Matsumoto Station and a 10-minutes walk from Matsumoto Castle. The café itself is cozy and offers different types of beans over different types of brewing methods. I ordered the Ethiopia light-medium roasted beans for an Iced-Americano and absolutely loved it. Great little coffee shop not far from the Matsumoto Castle right in front of the river. They provide a wide selection of coffees to make your drinks from light to strong. They also have Monin syrups for flavours. I opted for a Hazelnut Soy ice latte with Ethiopian roast. A great choice.

The inside has aircon and the front a nice little bench to take in the sun. Very nice staff...
