The selection pale ale, fruit beer, sour beer, IPA and stout made me want to go back to try the flavors I didn't have the chance to taste - the alcohol content was around 6% and I'm not a huge drinker.
Very friendly and English speaking bartender answered many of our questions. Their menu is kind enough to present their options with IBU (International Bitterness Unit), but it can be deceptive since some fruit beers had higher IBU than IPAs, and yet tasting less bitter - at least to an amateur like me.
Their food options were exclusively limited to simple appetizers, so don't go there if you want to have dinner. However, if you're keen on exploring local breweries, this is definitely a must-go in Matsumoto. Beware of their closing times, as you might expect these places to stay open until late...

Having read the reviews from past visitors, we came expecting a really nice environment. Even though we spoke a bit of Japanese, the owner behind the bar felt quite cold. Passionate owners have lived in the US and have sampled all of the beers in Colorado and California - and it’s reflected in their brews.
