Dome — Restaurant in Nagoya

My partner and I had dinner in the area and we were looking for a place where to have the last sakè (and maybe another bite of something different). Since it was relatively late, not so many options seemed available, until we passed by this place, the Dome. More than the big bottles of sakè displayed on a shelf at the entrance, it was the beautiful smile of a waitress (whose name is Yui, we eventually find out) waving on us to come in. Her kindness and jovial attitude (even if it was almost time to close for them too and therefore the staff had all the reasons to show tiredness...) made us stay until the very end and really enjoy our sakè and some morsels (especially the raw Shirasu). Thank you, Yui! ...

This restaurant was the highlight of my trip to Nagoya and I want to visit again. While we had to wait quite a while outside and almost left, we were glad we stayed. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs cook and prepare drinks. I had nihonshu sangria - a first, and quite nice.
