It seems a nice place, locate under the TV Tower in a new park recently open in Nagoya / Sakae central area, and I went there to make a reservation to celebrate my birthday in the following week. Although it Is named as a british pub, people there barely speak english - only japanese!! Also, the pub manager at that evening was not very polite and was not willing to help, so I gave up and booked my party in another place, where people were more friendly. It was a bad experience because usually people in restaurants and bars in Japan are very polite and deserve a great respect to the customers. Read moreOn our first night at Nagoya, we did not eat at a Japanese restaurant, instead we ate at Hub, a British pub. Luckily it turned out to be a good find. Located at Mirai Tower in Hisaya Odori Park, you literally won't miss it and it's near our hotel too. We ordered Pork Skirt steak and chips, Smoked pork tongue, Fish and chips and beer. The pork skirt was very tender and flavorful. It can actually also be paired with rice instead of chips (if you are in the Philippines). I also love that they sliced it already into bite size pieces ditching the need for knife. The smoked tongue was so so. I've had more tender tongue dishes like Lengua before.
