Nagoya is famous for Unagi, and you have to gotta find an unagi specialty store to taste it right. This store seats around 50 people and sells nothing but unagi, with 90% customers being local Japanese, those alone are good telltale signs of an expert in unagi. and wow, my mind is blown. This was one of the splurges I had in Nagoya. Sitting by the koi pond while enjoying the traditional eel rice in three different ways was a nice experience to have. The atmosphere definitely added a layer of flavor to the meal. The rice was nicely done as expected. Eel was juice and texturized.
