Stopped in for a late lunch after some Nara sightseeing. We were sat promptly, and they did have an English menu. There were only two items on the menu: tempura or a bento box. This made the choice easy.

My wife and I ordered the bento box. A bit pricey (¥2950) but worth it. From fresh fish to soup to tempura, every bite was heavenly. Truly an authentic Japanese dining experience, this place is a must visit if you’re in...

Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish: the dining room is quiet and cozy, the view on the garden is relaxing, the food (we had both types of menu) was delicious (different kinds of tempura, rice and beans, a soup, pickled vegetables, silky tofu, japanese cheese, etc.) and the personnel is...

Reservations are recommended for both lunch and dinner. 奈良町でゆったりランチを楽しむなら、ここ。 町屋の風情を愛でながら、大人のランチタイムをゆったり過ごせます。 名物の「蘇」という古代料理も、提供されていますので、解説の栞をぜひ読んでみましょう。
