Seems to be fairly traditional. Shoes off when seating at old school seating booths on mats. There are other tables within that seat conventionally.
Respectfully, they do not really speak any English, which is obviously understandable. Google was very helpful.
After ordering, no return service at all to check on us, I assume that was normal. When finished eating, you take bill to the front to pay.
Overall, food was fresh and good, although I received the wrong order despite showing a picture of what I was ordering. Lol. Still good.

Read moreWent here for dinner after reading the reviews. First off, just for those who planned to eat a table here, there is a $300 yen seat charge per person, so before you even order, you'll be charged $300 per person.
Secondly, the portions are small, and they dont do set meals at dinner. So don't expect large portions. They are traditional Japanese portions.
Thirdly, food was okay - order about 7 dishes, the wagyu steak slices were probably the worst in terms of value.
The best was the pork fried rice clay pot, prawn tempura, and tuna/avocado.

Each booth is quite spacious and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere. Larger rooms are available for bigger groups. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The food is simply delicious. They serve traditional Nara and Izakaya dishes. The presentation of each dish is really well done. They also serve a wide variety of sakes, beers and other alcoholic drinks.
This restaurant is worth a visit. I’m looking forward to eating here...
