おでん田八 — Restaurant in Osaka

Such an interesting and unique layout for a restaurant. When I walked in, there was a bar on the ground floor, and upstairs I found an oden bar. One of the doors on the second floor even had a company name on it — very intriguing. The setup seemed casual and open, like you could sit wherever you felt comfortable — whether on the first or second floor. Since no one else was around, I took a seat at the counter on the second floor and ordered a beer and some oden. Of course, oden naturally calls for nihonshu, so I checked the sake list… and there it was — Juyondai. It’s not something you come across often, so I had to go for it. In silence, I enjoyed both the food and the sake deeply. Three types of oden, a draft beer, and one glass of Juyondai — all for just 1,960 yen. Great quality, great price. Quiet, simple, and satisfying.

굉장히 신기한 구조의 가게였다. 들어가니 왠 바가 있었고 2층은 오뎅바가 있었고 2층에 어떤 문에는 회사이름이 적혀있기도 했다. 1층이든 2층이든 편하게 앉아서 먹으면 될것 같은 구조였고 아무도 없어 2층 카운터석에 앉아 맥주와 오뎅을 사켰고 오뎅엔 니혼슈 어울리는 구미라 니혼슈를 보니 쥬욘다이가 있었다. 꽤 만나기 힘든 쥬욘다이를 만났으니 당연히 마셔야지. 침묵속에서 술도 음식도 맛나게 먹고 나왔다. 오뎅 3종류, 생맥주, 그리고 쥬욘다이 한잔까지해서 총...
